i've finished chamber of secrets..stayed up till almost 1 to read it all. heee...it's always the last bit that's exciting. so anyway..i've discovered a couple of interesting things.
1) Ron was the only one visibly excited that Hermione was un-Petrified. (adri..more proof that it's ron, not harry)
2) the very fact that harry is the one who can pull out the sword of Gryffindor may become significant again. and..he got it through the sorting hat..does that mean the sorting hat can also conjure more significant items?
3) why was voldemort afraid of dumbledore? does dumbledore really have so much power, but if he does, why wasn't dumbledore the one who got rid of voldemort? so odd..
4) Snape is pretty protective of harry..for some odd reason. is there something more to that? i think snape will play an increasingly impt role. (i say this cos i just remembered snape muttering the counter-charm to prevent quirell from killing harry during quidditch.)
5) there were some pretty cryptic words in philosophers stone. harry always thought snape could read minds..and we later find out..in order of the phoenix, that snape can kind of read minds..refer to occlumency!
6) isn't it odd that somehow..harry is always the only one left fighting whatever there is to fight? in philosophers stone, harry was the only one in the room with the mirror of erised. in chanber, ron gets stuck with gilderoy and harry is the only one fighting the basilisk. and how is it that dumbledore knows so much? in chamber, i'm pretty sure dumbledore knew what was going on in harry's mind, and was just asking out of courtesy, whether harry has anything to tell him.
7) i think fawkes was the catalyst in the formation of the deep bond between harry and dumbledore. and i still have no idea why dumbledore sounded all guilty and distant in order of the phoenix. could this become a crucial point in bk 5?
heee..at the rate i'm devouring the books..i'll be through, with what i have, before the end of the exams!
8 more days!!! yay!!! haha..i can actually count everything with the fingers on my 2 hands..can't wait till the day when i can count the no of days with just one hand!! hee...i'm going shopping later...buh-byeeeeee
